this tiger, tiger dude wtf. now he comes out and says his import is the best in switzerland. first he calls some no name (nobody other then league b has heard of him) the best runningback in switzerland. then , no joke guys he calls hendricks the best import in switzerland, oh my fu...ing good. just made all your hard trys from all yourprevious post sound even more redicoulous. hendricks might be a good coach and also player but to call him the best is just absolutely pathetic. he played with vienna rangers in austria, do you know when they played afl last time, thats years ago, im not talking 6-8 years im talking even more. if hendricks is thatg good why didnt he stay with bern, why didnt he play with bern (he got hurt i know)for another year. i have all the respect for everyone in his age going out there and doing what he does, but please tell that tiger dude to not make him more of a douchebag then what he already is. ueli sutter is the best president in switzerland, you know why because hes from thun.

Hendricks was a great college player 4 years in US and was an NFL prospect as a WR/RB. Tryout camp with two NFL teams... Played in Austria (AFL) for years and was the MVP of the league and set many league records there for TDs, yards etc.. He is the player people in Austria use as the highest standard for Imports... Played last year with Bern but was injured serious pretty early in the season. Not expected to play again he is now back 100 percent and playing as well as any import is expected. Sure he is not the player he was in the past, but at his age still playing as well as any very good US import. Now as QB.
Plus add the coaching experience and ability he has at many levels and he MIGHT be the best or most valuable Import... My opinion.

yes so i think.. i like the swiss football league more and more because every team is getting better and better... i hope we have next year a nla with more teams.. because i want to play agains other teams not every year against bern, zurich... the nla has to be better than the nlb... but you see in the nla are some "weak" teams like the warriors and they should do something right now... i also think that every import not just have to be a good player.. he should take the nla or nlb serious and shoulb be a good teamplayer.. if you find a guy like that it will be a good expirience for all teammates, and everybody gets better.. so i hope we get some money maybe in 10 years ;), that we dont have to work :D

i dont think hes the best import... he got experience and im sure hes a good coach! but he never throws like Glavic or Rainbow or runs like jones.. hes a good allround player but is not the gamebraker... but is in good shape for his age :)
sorry is nothing against coach hendricks

we will see, when the best team of nlb plays against the worst team of nla... and you can believe me, we have a lot of good swiss players.. watch our juniors and watch your?? you see the difference? best import in swiss? did he win the eurobowl? did he play division I? has he had a record in passing (like marko glavic)/ or running if he is a rb... in his college?
i dont think so.. first think then write...
29.04.2010, 14:32, von tiger, tiger
Imports? The Tigers might have the best American import in Swiss. Big experience as player and coaching. Still plays as well as any import after years in Austria. Plus I am sure the players are learning a lot from his coaching.... The imports are important but the national players are much more important to having a good team longer term.

i think if thun or bienna had 4 iports and good ones like glavic and co they wouldnt loose every game by 50 points maybe want win any in the first season but this makes the team only stronger ;) but there is a lil problem the word "IF"
but still now it is what it is. and if they want to come up so they have to beat the last NLA team and that will be not easy
29.04.2010, 13:24, von nla, nla
hey guys.. yo have no idea what your talking about... an nlb team will loose against an nla team like the broncos or the renegades or the devils 50:00... the differences are, the coaches (like calanda with rick taylor..), the qb imports (watch rainbow, glavic, white etc), the other imports (sasha glavic, keiler, LB from Basel etc)...
cmon guys.. in the nla are players from nfl europe and the us.. i am a player of an nla team and i learned a lot from our imports, they made me better 2-3 times..
other difference is the speed, you have in the nla on every position 2-3 guys and just the fastest, strongest, smartest will play (not like in the nlb where you put in a offensive lineman just because he is 140kg... ) i realy like the nlb, and the league is getting better and better, but stay on the ground with talking about things like that...
have a nice season
29.04.2010, 12:27, von football, home
the glads beat 2 nla teams this season.they are almost the same team as last year + 3 pros.
the most nlb teams have no chance right now, but there is some teams they wont lose 50:00 against a nla teams.
anyway, that is a stupid conversation.
i see the tigers, meanmachine and the jets in the next years in the nla, hofely with 7-9 teams in the nla.
29.04.2010, 12:16, von honest, schweiz
i played in both leagues, if somebody really thinks most teams in NLB can compete with teams in NLA your sadly mistaken.but i like your spirit of believing that you are as good as a NLA team. when was the last time a NLB team beat a NLA team? probarly over 10 Years ago

lol u are making up things that are not true! Grizzlies played there best most of the time against jets...I was there.... more players? Not really! I know more players show up to practice in some b league teams than a....#24 from basel is still in basel and he is not the best WR in the league no way.... How many import LBers are there in the whole Swiss? Maybe one!
Keep makin things up to make yourself feel better since u must be riding the bench or something. good luck on the season!
29.04.2010, 08:22, von @ coach, lil wayne
in NLB you got 8 games plus the final when you play in it so 9 games i think its the same in NLA you got just 2 more and wehn you make the swiss bowl you got 3 more so its not a big diffrence.
nd thats true every nlb player sucks and will never and ever have a chance against a A leaague player every single person in A is faster stronger quicker smarter & better looking.!!!! and never in this world a b team will have a chance to beat a A team!!
to bad basel ^lost last year one game against meanmachine and had a close game against the jets. (nothing against basel I compare only A-B) i know now they got imports and there much stronger but still
maybe we got less players in teams but still a lot of them are quality players!

That WR that went to Calanda was the other one and he is hurt. Nr 24 is stil in Basel. Dont listen to much to rumors. This Guy is better or this Guy is better is a stupit conversation.
I playd almost aginst all Swiss RB that plays in the Swiss Football League and i know that the 34 from Thun is a Machine!
I play Linebacker and dont say this to all RBs.
And he holds the ball correctly normaly,so a bad moment at that picture.
28.04.2010, 23:27, von coach, here
so you judge that from preseason game where most likely the grizzlies had backups in and let everybody play in second half. lets see who will win league b and how they square off against the last placed A team. league b team wont stand a chance, you will see and then you come in here and have some excuses<. the guy from bern and hohenems play tough opposition week in, week out they play against import linebackers who can actually read, then they have to proove themself in each practice against backups who are lurkin to take that position away from them. all those things i just listed that thun guy doesnt have, how many backup runningbacks are in your team?? how many off weekends between games??? how many games all year??? little things like that make a big difference. in basel you have 7 rb fighting for 2 spots8third is import) thats pressure, you run into well trained defenses who not only tackel you hard but go for the ball each time and try to strippe it. say what you want but your guy isnt used to that. i heard a rumor that the one guy tore up league b with meanmachines last year as a receiver and everybody said he was the best swiss player in league B, then calanda got him, as for now he is there but hasnt played a down yet in a game!!!!! i have feeling if this rumor is true, your guy would probarly experience the same thing
28.04.2010, 23:17, von bäm bäm, bum bum
only diffrence betweene A and B is that teh most teams got more depth in theyre rosters and more imports, if thun or bienna would have 3-4 imports i they could cpmpete in the a laague
only lausanne and fribourg arent ready to go A but also this two teams are getting better
28.04.2010, 23:03, von tiger, tiger
He doesnt always carry it like that trust me. He has very good ball security normally. U judge by pictures? one picture? That explains a lot.
Difference? a little... but not so much and the hits are just as hard. The best three teams in b are very close overall to the same talent and skill level as a league... I saw the Jets play the Grizzlies in preseason and it was very evenly played. Hard to tell who was a league and who was b league. Seems like the Jets had much more problems with the Tigers and #34.
28.04.2010, 22:45, von coach, here
ikf he plays against real defense like basel, calanda or zurich he would fumble it like 5 times a game. sorry its easy to strip the ball and in league a they do that. i bet you 200chf if he plays one of those teams he would fumble. thats how it is, it still is a big difference between those 2 leagues, like it or not.

Yes i know those guys very well and they are good. But I feel they are not as good as #34 from the Tigers. I am sure U always hold the ball just perfect right?!...U have no clue what U are talking about. #34 has more size, strength, vision, instinct, runs real low to the ground, hard to tackle and is just as elusive and fast as the other U mentioned. He also blocks very well and can catch. He is the best all around RB in Swiss...If u can get past the holding the ball thing on one play. He is a very fundamentally sound player...just because the team is playing in the b league doesnt mean there are not good players and serious players...where U from since U have all this knowledge and think U know about it all?
28.04.2010, 17:32, von coach, here
best runningback in switzerland who holds the ball like that, lol thats a good one. have you ever seen that kid from bern?? or tino from hohenems both swiss guys and both excellent backs. whoever this dude is and i hope hes a good as you say, better start working on his basic football fundys. is there a link somewhere where i can see him in action????

Hmm, it\'s fun I wasn\'t aware that you can see a teams work ethic trough the people in the attendance......
And I hope we have fun, even if you\'re a pro player you have to have fun doing it, or else there is no point in playing.
Just my opinion.

28.04.2010, 17:15, von not so sure, everywhere
there are a couple other rb?s who can compete with him ;)
Fabian Schaller from Bern Niki Perego from Biel Tino from Hohenems just to name a few :)

That guy running is the best RB in Switzerland! no doubt! Ya he isnt covering the tip but he probably just broke four tackles so its ok...And the comment on the fun in the b league? sure its fun! but its just as serious as the a league, and in most cases just as good players!
28.04.2010, 07:30, von What is a coach?, Ort
What is a coach?
A coach is a politician, a judge, a public speaker, a teacher, a trainer, a financier, a laborer, a psychiatrist, psychologist and a chaplain. It also helps if he is an astrologer or at least understands numerology.
He must be an optimist and yet at times appear a pessimist, seem humble and yet be very proud, strong but at times weak, confident yet not over-confident, enthusiastic but not too enthusiastic.
He must have the hide of an elephant, the fierceness of a lion, the pep of a young pup, the guts of an ox, the stamina of an antelope, the wisdom of an owl, the cunning of a fox, and the heart of a kitten. It will also be to his benefit to develop the acting ability of a poker player with a pat hand.
He must be willing to give freely of his time, his money, his energy, his youth, his family life, his health and sometimes even life itself. In return, he must expect little financial reward, little comfort on earth, little privacy, little praise but plenty of criticism.
However, a good coach is respected in his community, is a leader in his school, is loved by his team, and makes lasting friends wherever he goes.
He has the satisfaction of seeing youth develop and improve in ability. He learns the thrill of victory and how to accept defeat with grace. His associations with athletes help keep him young in mind and spirit; and he, too, must grow and improve with his team.
In his heart he knows that, in spite of the inconveniences, the criticisms, and the demands on his time, he loves his profession, for he is THE COACH.

somebody please tell that dude how to hold a ball, if somebody sees that they think we are rugby players who try to play football. nice field looks cozy out there, you can bring your dog, beer and probarly whatever you want. national league b looks like alot of fun and very fun based without to much seriouness behind it. not my kind of thing but i guess thats why they play there.
